BIOGRAPHY
Rosita Tassi begins her music studies at the age of seven. She graduates in Piano then at the Music Conservatory of Pesaro, while she keeps on studying Chamber Music. In 1993 she is selected among the upper level students and she performs F. Poulenc's "Aubade" Concerto for piano and orchestra at the "Pedrotti" Auditorium in Pesaro with the local conservatory orchestra. Afterwards she takes a master degree while playing as a piano accompanist in the class of Prof. Torreggiani. She has played as piano soloist and in piano duo ensemble, performing her repertoire which includes the most interesting works of Rachmaninoff, Brahms, Moszkowski, Schostakovich, Ravel, Fauré, Poulenc, Dvorak, Infante, Busoni and the transcription of Respighi's symphonic poems “I pini di Roma” and “Le fontane di Roma”.
In 1998, she live recorded in Rome a concert tributed the Music Festival, printing a CD for the “Discoteca di Stato”. She starts her singing studies at the “Accademia del Teatro” in Cagli with William Matteuzzi and Gioacchino Zarrelli. Her debut is in the year 2002 performing in G. B. Pergolesi's “Stabat Mater”. In the same season, she also sings in “La serva padrona” at Urbania's Theatre with the Symphonic Orchestra of Pesaro directed by Shih Hung Yung. In the year 2003 she makes Gloria Banditelli's master class perfoming “L’incoronazione di Poppea”, “Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda”, Monteverdi's “Il ballo delle ingrate”, in various theatres, in the cities of Cagli, Jesi, Montegridolfo, Pesaro and Novafeltria, with the Symphonic Orchestra of Pesaro directed by B. Manfredini. She has sung in Bizet's Carmen at the “Teatro Comunale di Modena” with Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Marco Beretta. She was invited in San Marino Republic at the “Castello di Serravalle” for a conference concert about Verdi's Trovatore, accompanied by pianist Fabbri. In March 2004 she sang Così fan tutte at the “Teatro Rossini di Pesaro” conducting L. Ferrara, then in July she sang in E. W. Ferrari “Il segreto di Susanna” directed by Paolo Vaglieri and E. Courir at the theatre of Cagli. She then studied with M. Trombetta, G. Merighi and L. Serra.
During the 2006 Season at New Opera Festival in Rome she debuted in Puccini's Bohème then she was Tosca.
